A few months ago, I went on my first official solo trip. By solo travel, I mean traveling alone and staying in a stranger’s home. (I’ve been to Kuala Lumpur for a short trip three years ago but I don’t count that as traveling solo because I stayed in a friend’s flat.)
What…it’s September already?! I can’t believe it’s the last quarter of 2016! How did time fly by so fast?
This year, I told myself I would do my best to use my time more wisely and have a more balanced life. It is a tall order, I feel, but a skill that I want to continuously hone. And I know that this will take time.

Most of us have heard this English idiom. Although, personally, it is hard to beat a really great read, I do agree when people say that it is much easier to look at photos than a ton of text.
“Teacher Aby, you were a programmer before?”
“I didn’t know you used to be in IT!”
“Why shift to teaching?”
“So, are you going back to IT?”
